Nana Kobina Attom III

Founding Chairman of the Board · Chief of Aboadze

The late Nana Kobina Attom III was the chief of Aboadze and the founding board chairman of Emmacel Foundation. Before becoming the Chief of Aboadze, he worked at the prestigious Pioneer Tobacco Company (PTC), which later became known as the British American Tobacco Company.

After PTC, Nana Attom III became a well-known businessman in the Shama District and worked with several business entities — especially Wilson and Grace Limited, which dealt in the hiring of trucks and many other transport businesses.

Nana Kobina Attom III served the people of Aboadze and the entire Shama District with good leadership and a development-oriented mindset, and was part of several non-governmental initiatives aimed at the growth and progress of human capital in the Shama District.

He is remembered with deep gratitude by the Foundation, whose earliest steps he chaired and championed.
